​I write reviews, features, and essays on dance, performing arts, film, and culture. I am the author of a book. I also publish journal articles, book chapters, and nonfiction.

Since 2009, I have worked to be a force of good in higher education. I have taught writing, literature, film, research, and gender studies in traditional, hybrid, and online formats at levels from graduate to developmental.

 

As you can see, my love of music goes way back. I'm at the piano with my grandfather, who worked for a company that stocked jukeboxes with 7" vinyl singles.
